The decision in one line
Half a day → Mostraumen. Whole day and the budget → Nærøyfjord and Flåm. Both, if you can → Mostraumen first, the big day later. They do not repeat each other: one is a strait seen from a boat, the other a landscape you cross.
Cruise-ship passengers
The Mostraumen boats leave a few minutes’ walk from the cruise berths and the 10:00 sailing is back by 13:30 — see the port-call plan. The Nærøyfjord day is only realistic on a long port call.
